Catherine is a barrister and solicitor, and the founder of One80 Law Group – a law firm she created with clients, cost, convenience, connection and community in mind. Born and raised in Red Deer, Catherine graduated with Bachelor of Commerce in Finance with Distinction from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary in 2003 and in 2006, she received her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta. She was admitted to the Alberta bar in 2007 and began her practice at a national corporate law firm. From there she spent many years working in the oil and gas industry, and most recently she had a general practice with a mid-sized firm in Calgary until she started the One80 Law. Catherine was admitted to the Law Society of British Columbia in 2021.
Amy is our senior Alberta Real Estate Paralegal with over 20 years of experience. She loves what she does, works very hard for our clients and always has a smile on her face. Shelby is a paralegal with over 14 years of experience in a variety of areas of law including Wills and Estates, Corporate, Litigation, Family and Matrimonial. In addition to working as a paralegal, Shelby has owned and operated a small business with her husband, where she held accounting and administrative roles. She prides herself on her well-rounded experience in business and extensive knowledge in the legal field to provide our clients with the highest level of service.
Ali has 15 years experience conveyancing in both Alberta and British Columbia. She graduated from the Legal Assistant Program at Grant MacEwan University in Edmonton during the real estate boom in 2007 and started her career in Alberta. She moved out to beautiful British Columbia in 2015 with the intention of staying for 6 months but has called it home ever since. When Ali has time away from tackling your toughest real estate issues, you’ll find her at the beach, the soccer pitch or at home napping with her 20 year old cat, Mayo.
